Charles & Keyera  were both students at the same high school. Even though the two were always near one another every day, it was not until after they went on their separate paths before they would actually formally meet.

I thought Charles was quirky because he would message me on Facebook about basketball which I guess was his way of flirting, needless to say I wasn't interested. As time went along there were many failed attempts in actually meeting, and many more messages later about planning a date. One special day in 2013, we finally met at Evergreen Plaza mall. That day alone would change my life and I didn't even know it. In 2015, I became a mom to a handsome little boy; and in 2022 I became a fiance. I hope that you will join me in 2024, when I'll become a wife. To think it all began from an encounter at The Plaza.

Groom's Version

I used  to hear about Keyera a lot because we shared some of the same friends. I started to become interested in her and wanted to shoot my shot. She ignored my attempts a few times. I don't know why I kept trying honestly but I did, and one day we finally met in the parking lot of  The Plaza. Our first date was at the AMC theaters in Chicago Ridge Mall, with a few more dates after that I began to realize that she was the one.
